It is for this reason that experts recommend taking proper care even after being slightly infected. The increase can prove to be fatal.

However, there are experts who suggest that the sexually transmitted diseases and the sexually transmitted infections are the same thing. It is just the increase of the infections to that of the diseases. So, if the differences are considered, there isn't much difference between the two.
